Security Deposit:
A credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) in the name of the rental contract holder and main driver is required to collect the vehicle.
Debit cards cannot be used for the deposit pre-authorization. Prepaid, rechargeable, virtual cards, or cards issued by online/digital banks are not accepted.
Third-Party Liability Insurance (R.C.):
Does not cover physical injuries to the driver or damage to the vehicle when the driver is responsible for the accident.
Damage Liability Limitation subject to a deductible of €400.00.
(In cases of illegal/negligent driving; intentional damage; unauthorized commercial use; or unauthorized modifications, the Customer must pay the full amount of the damage caused.)
NOTE: In the event of an accident, the customer must complete the accident report form (European Accident Statement), notify the office, and deliver the completed form to the rental location.
Penalty for failure to submit the accident report form: €500.
Theft Liability Limitation subject to a deductible of €400.00.
You may request our “WORRY-FREE HOLIDAY” insurance policy at a cost of €10.00 per day to eliminate the deductible, valid only for THEFT.
In the event of vehicle theft where due care was not exercised, the customer must reimburse the full value of the stolen vehicle.
Fuel Policy; Tire Punctures; Fines:
Traffic fines and highway tolls are not included in the rental rate.
Fuel is not included in the rental rate. If the vehicle is not returned with a full tank, a €20.00 surcharge will be applied.
Tire punctures must be repaired and paid for by the Customer.
If the vehicle is returned with a punctured tire, a €40.00 surcharge will be applied.
If the tire damage is severe and requires replacement, a surcharge ranging from €100.00 to €200.00 will be applied, depending on the vehicle booked.
Cancellation Policy:
If the renter cancels the reservation within 72 hours prior to the scooter pick-up date, a full refund (100%) of the amount paid will be issued.
If the renter cancels the reservation less than 36 hours before the scooter pick-up date, an amount equal to the deposit paid (30%) will be retained.
If the renter cancels the reservation without notice, no refund will be issued.
Driving Requirements:
Non-EU citizens are required to present an International Driving Permit.
Driving licenses printed in non-Roman alphabets (Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc.) must be accompanied by an International Driving Permit.
Digital driving licenses are not accepted.
Notes:
Customer negligence does not constitute a valid excuse, as the law requires due care and diligence in the management of financial relationships.
